News: DJ Yoda to release Breakfast Of Champions

Better know to his mother as Duncan Beiny, DJ Yoda is a London based DJ and producer. His music is a mix of hip-hop, scratching and general insanity. Previously most famous for his ‘How To Cut & Paste’ mix albums, he is now more focused on releasing his own stuff. With a couple of  fantastic albums already under his belt, ‘Breakfast Of Champions’ is his first new material since 2012’s ‘Chop Suey’.

Where as other big producers of today such as David Guetta and Calvin Harris are more reliant on super-star collaborations with their celeb mates, DJ Yoda has gone in a completely  different direction. Instead, he has got together a host of up and coming musicians and MCs to perform on the project. It has much more organic sound than his previous releases, something that will no doubt sound amazing during his forthcoming live appearances. It is the sound of a truly original artist stepping out of his comfort zone and pushing new boundaries.

The first track to be released from the album is ‘The Baddest’ and features the talents of Mouse Outfit members Sparks and Truthos Mufasa. It is a funky harmonica lead track (courtesy of Kitty Daisy and Lewis’ Kitty Durham) and sets the tone for what the rest of the album may be about. It lands in the UK on March 9th.
