Gallery: Courage My Love – Leeds Milo’s Bar, 21/05/16

Inside the tin can sweat box that is Milo’s Bar in the centre of Leeds a whole cluster of local bands along side Italian rockers Over and headliners, Canadian three piece Courage My Love are ready to showcase themselves. This is Courage My Love’s first ever time in the UK let alone headlining. Made up of sisters Mercedes Arn-Horn (Vocals, Guitar) and Phoenix Arn-Horn (Drums, Vocals) and bassist Brandon Lockwood, fitting them onto the tiny stage wasn’t so much of a problem.

In such a small bar where Johnny Cash is playing out of the equipment at the side of the stage before Courage My Love kick off their set and the extreme nature of the heat is so overpowering two members have to take their shirts off, it’s clear everyone in the room is in for a really interesting show. Showcasing their infectious  tracks like Kerosene and You Don’t Know How, they clearly left a mark on the audience in which some had been following the tour already for days. Even though the conditions may have not been favourable to some, the band held this show among one of the most memorable they’ve ever played.
