Copenhagen based duo Lucaléy, aka Bo Karlsson and Ea Philippa Tange describe their new track, Dance to the Drum of our Hearts as being about “Daring to be who you really are and follow your deepest longing no matter what the outside world may think of it. Follow your own path in life even though it may not be the easiest way to go.”
Certainly daring in its outlook, Dance to the Drum of our Hearts is layered, intricate pop, built on handclaps, off kilter synths and basslines. It bubbles away, strands of melody and accompaniment fighting for attention such is the kaleidoscopic nature of it. It splashes against your senses, full of colour verve and melody.
