Premiere: Long Teeth – Pangea

Here at Backseat Mafia, we’re delighted to premiere the new single from East London three piece Long Teeth. Called Pangea, it’s out on March 20th via Drastic Decline Records and precedes the bands ‘Canned Laughter’ EP which follows in April. The EP is a follow on from the bands two previous self-released singles – ‘Little Machine’ and ‘Famous Girls’, and have built a heady live reputation.

Pangea rockets into life, all supercharged punk, with the vocals poetic sometimes spoken, always tongue in cheek (My name is Pangea, I’ve had a wonderful career) as the track switches down for the impossibly catchy chorus, and then it blasts back into the verse. It’s a statement of intent. Check it out, here

Pangea will be followed up by a full release of their EP ‘Canned Laughter’ on April 20th with a free release show at The Shacklewell Arms.
