See: Astari Nite reveals new video for Sunday Queen

Taken from their forthcoming album Midnight Conversations, out in July on Cleopatra Records, South Florida post-punks Astari Nite have released the visuals to the track ‘Sunday Queen’. Talking about the track, Mychael from the band says “IN Sunday Queen, a tragic obsession occurs between magick and love. I feel as the days continue to go by I am finding myself to be more and more infatuated with make believe. There is a certain kind of comfort in tricking the mind into knowing that things aren’t what they seem. Perhaps the characters of the song will meet again in another song on the Midnight Conversations album… ”

Dark and brooding, in an goth period Cure sort of way, the guitars on Sunday Queen cut through the swathes of synths with their wiry lines, while Joy Division like drumming propels it forward. Over the top is this slightly menacing, but impossible to ignore vocal. Check out the suitably gothic imagery contained within the accompanying video, here
