See: Peter Perrett releases new video for ‘Once is Enough’

Former Only Ones frontman Peter Perrett has released a new video for ‘Once is Enough’ taken from his forthcoming Humanworld album, out on June 7th via the ever brilliant Domino Records.

With Humanworld, Perrett has created a new set of songs about love, with perspectives taken from both sides of the emotional river,  this new track causing Perrett to gasp ‘I’ve got to take my own advice’. Driven by this sort swooning War on Drugs backing, there are lovely turns of melody at work, characterised by Perrett’s lived in voice, which sounds like its been coated with the hue of a life lived in pubs and clubs, which might also be where some of the sharp observations were also born out.
