See: Rat Boy releases music video for “Knock Knock pt.II”

Rat Boy has released the music video for “Knock Knock pt.II” from new seven-track release “Civil Disorder”. The video features rehearsal clips of Rat Boy and his band combined with clips of them driving around in a car customised with “SCUM” graffiti; a nod to Rat Boy’s debut album, and was edited and directed by Rat Boy.

The track – said to be Rat Boy’s favourite of the new release – is intended as a follow up to “Knock Knock” from his debut record (who would have thought?). It features West London rapper Lord Apex, who supported Rat Boy at Heaven in 2016 when they decided to record a track together. The styles blend together well, with Rat Boy’s hip-hop influences already fairly prominent, leading to an energetic, almost punk feel at times.

Rat Boy is set to appear at Community Festival on July 1st and Phil Taggart Presents Slacker at Bestival in August.
