See: The Beths release new video for ‘Future Me Hates Me’

New Zealand’s The Beths have revealed the video for their new single, Future Me Hates Me, taken from their forthcoming album on the same name, out via Carpark Records on August 10th. It’s alternatively scuzzy and jangly, but most of all it’s deliciously melodic, and immediately infectious. Elizabeth Stokes does a great line in slightly kooky vocals as she brings the melancholy, singing “Future heartbreak, future headaches, wide eyed nights late lying awake”

The accompanying video sees the band watching a DIY play, featuring monsters, aliens, stars, and heartbreak. Of sorts. Check it out below. If you’ve heard a catchier track this year, we’ll be amazed.
