Taken from their recently released album ‘All Departures’, South East Coast indie rockers The Blend have released a video to accompany their track ‘Don’t Waste My Time’. Drawing comparisons with the likes of The Who, the band certainly revel in a sense of the anti-establishment, and backed up with splashes of keys infiltrating the driving drums and blistering guitars.
Sounding like it could have found a home on Dookie, Don’t Waste My Time marries this punk aesthetic up with a bunch of 60’s/britpop influences. Vocalist Dylan Smith’s raw vocals only add to its undoubted attitude, but the melodic nature of the band means its easy to fall in love with.
