Track: Invisible Minds – The Cut Girl feat. Howard Hobbs

Despite the fact he keeps hos real identityclose to his (or her) chest, London producer invisible minds gained friends and influenced people as diverse as Clash magazine, Tom Ravenscroft, Lauren Laverne and Steve Lamacq amongst others with his brilliant debut single ‘Yo Mae Leh’, as well as scoring number 1 on the iTunes electronic music chart.

He’s returned with a follow up, The Cut Girl. Gentle broken chords from the hammer dulcimer give it this slightly exotic feel, before things take a turn for the 8-bit, as the track saunters along with these warm electronics firmly in view. Over the top Howard Hobbs soft croon sings of a painful encounter with an ex-lover.

He’s onto another winner, this Invisible Minds.
