Track: L.A. Salami – Jean is Gone

London based artist L.A. Salami has shared his new track, ‘Jean Is Gone’, ahead of the release of his forthcoming second album The City Of Bootmakers. Salami is continuing to weave his way through an extensive catalogue, with each song telling its own story, characterised by many observational anecdotes.

Following an upbeat intro, featuring a Johnny Marr guitar vibe, ‘Jean Is Gone’ leads the listener on a journey through a sharp narrative, accompanied by organ and percussion, highlighting Salami’s soulful urban-folk, slightly reminiscent of early Badly-Drawn Boy records.

This single is a tale of broken love from a prolific young storyteller and forms part of an incredible collection of tracks, set for release on Friday 13th April through Sunday Best Recordings
