Track: The Monochrome Set – Stage Fright

From being at the forefront of the post-punk movement at the end of the 1970’s, The Monochrome Set are still making pulses racing and Stage Fright is out now from their recent Masieworld album, which came out on the ever brilliant Tapete Records imprint. Stage Fright sees the band in typically angular mood, with the rough edges smoothed out somewhat with the melodious sheen of the tunes and the faux-funk of the horn section. It’s rather grand and fabulous.
