Track: Hospital’s new single Louder to cure summer blues

by Diana Zhdanova

With their 2013 debut titled When The Trees Were Higher and its 2015 follow-up Uncommon Sense, Hospital firmly established themselves as one of the best indie-pop bands in Russia.

Their crunchy guitars, poppy hooks and dreamy lyrics warmed hearts of thousands fans all over the country and beyond. Their music has also appealed to such international stars as Lana del Rey, The Neighbourhood, and The Kooks whose Russian shows they opened for.

With their punchy new single Louder – from the upcoming album that is set for release in the autumn – the band is sure to reach the ears and playlists of indie lovers around the world. The dancy tune of the first band’s release in a year involves a catchy melody over a disco beat and some experimenting with style. The new sound features soft saxophone melodies mixed with with hints of funk.

Hospital’s new song is sure to serve as musical medicine for melancholic moods this summer. Tune in and dance:
