Live Review: The Maine / The Happy Fits / Charlotte Sands – House Of Blues, San Diego 21.04.2022

I have a special place in my heart for The Maine; they are one of the first bands that started my never-ending emo phase plus we are both from Phoenix, Arizona so I always felt just a little closer to them.

The Maine, one of the most influential and well known pop-punk bands of the early 2000’s, are back with their 8th studio album: “XOXO: From Love and Anxiety in Real Time”.  While their sound has evolved since they first released “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” in 2008, the Maine’s music stays fun, energetic, and rooted in their humble emo beginnings.

The Maine is currently touring North America with support from The Happy Fits and Charlotte Sands. Both openers had a completely full audience that knew all their songs, it was amazing to see!

I captured the show at the House of Blues in San Diego; check out The Maine’s website for upcoming shows in your area!
