If you’ve been anywhere near a nightclub/DJ this year, you’ll know Dominica’s Gotta Let You Go. If that wasn’t enough of an endorsement, then it was the most played track at this years ADE, with Seth Troxler, Jackmaster, Skream, Tong and others all dropping it in their sets. Its been given an official release in its 2015 edit form, which is a simple re-edit and remaster.
It ticks all the house anthem boxes, with this deliciously wonky synth figure, over this pulsating beat, and featuring a simple and repetitive cut up on Dominica’s soulful vocal. Throw in some ebbs and flows, some drop outs and the odd (musical) climax, and its no wonder this has been on everyone’s record boxes and dancefloors in recent months.
