Track: Iman – Golden

If you like your electro pop a little more in your face than the recent penchant for syrupy, hazy sounding tracks, likelihood is you’ll go for Golden, the debut track from British born African/ Middle Eastern pop artist Iman. It’s all about these big 80s sounding synth riffs and 90s sounding beats, like sitting shoulder pads on top of high heeled ankle boots. Her vocal smoulders over the top of everything, and she delivers on the melody front, as she manages to scuff up the clean production into something that has just a touch of soul.

Right Iman, you’ve got out interest……
