Track: Table Scraps – ‘Bug’

Fancy getting down and dirty? Well here’s a slab of unadulterated backstreet punk. Meet Table Scraps.

Scott Vincent Abbott and Poppy Twist from Birmingham might be only just around 12 months old,  but they look and sound like a whole bunch of trouble, and  are building a rep as one hell of a garage punk band. Fuzz drenched guitars, echo heavy, straight up punk. Scott’s guitar feeds its way through three amps and, while the wonderfully monickered, Poppy Twist, beats out the primal beats from a stand up drum kit.

Having supported some of the best live acts around at the moment – Fat White Family, The Amazing Snakeheads, God Damn, and Temple Songs – as well as supports with U.S. acts King Tuff and Kid Congo Powers – they’ve just announced the release of their debut single ‘Bug’ via Table Scraps’ own ‘Hell’s Teeth’ imprint on limited edition 7″ Vinyl and for digital download from August 11th.

At round about a minute and a half long, it’s short but very, very sweet. Pure raw power, because, just like the band themselves say “that’s all it takes”…
