NEWS: Camden Rocks Festival Announces First Fifty Bands

Camden Rocks has just announced the first fifty acts on the line-up for this year’s festival! Now in its fifth year, the festival will be taking place in over 20 venues around Camden in London on June 4th.

At the top of the list are Watford’s SikTh, just back from supporting Slipknot on their recent UK jaunt. As well as SikTh are rock’s rising stars Young Guns, Essex four-piece We Are The Ocean, plus other names such as Ginger Wildheart, InMe, New Years Day, As Lions, Evil Scarecrow and goth-rockers Ashestoangels, who are due to release their fourth album in April. Not only is this line-up looking better than Christmas- there is still 150 bands left to announce, including headliners and smaller bands!

SikTh frontman Mikee Goodman spoke about the festival, “Camden Rocks is an awesome festival to be a part of, I played it in another band last year and thought the day had a great buzz. Really looking forward to playing to SikTh fans in an intimate London venue!”

“It’s great to see punters and bands from all genres come together to celebrate the best of live music. The energy across the day is electric and does Camden’s rock n’roll heritage proud!” Says organiser, Chris McCormack. Tickets for Camden Rocks are priced at £35 plus booking fees and are available here. Don’t leave it too late, the festival has sold out every year so far!
