Brisbane goliaths Violent Soho are one of those bands that every Australian just needs to see live. The group’s longevity has been incredible to say the least, having written and released immeasurable records in the last decade, and traversed every inch of the country, making appearances at nearly every festival under the sun.
The band have just announced their first Sydney headliner in two years, and their first show since their latest album ‘Everything is A-OK’ was let loose into the world, making its way swiftly to the #1 spot on the ARIA charts. You can download or stream the album here.
The live show, scheduled for March 31 at Sydney’s prestigious Roundhouse, is set to reconnect and reunite fans who have no doubt been craving the humid, stimulating sensation of a Violent
Soho performance.
Joining them are Sydney’s very own Dear Seattle, coming off the back of their first two singles in over two years, ‘Way Out’ and ‘In My Head’ – it was only a matter of time before these two bands shared a particular stage – and Canberra legends Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, who have just signed to Domestic LaLa and seen immense support from triple j and Spotify for their smash hits ‘AHHHH!’ and ‘Miss Your Birthday’.
Who could pass on a line up this inviting? It’s an enormous welcome back to the beloved Brisbane hard rockers who have dominated the Australian music scene for years, before they return to the festival circuit with scheduled appearances at Splendour In The Grass, Yours & Owls, UNIFY and Queensland’s Best Night Ever.
