Premiere: Bloody Your Hands release new track, Insincere Apologies

New York indie punks Bloody Your Hands have announced their sophomore album, Sunday Scaries, is out on August 28th, and they’ve followed up first single Weird Winter with a new track ‘Insincere Apologies’, which we’re delighted to premiere here on Backseat Mafia today.

Of the track, the band say “This is a song about relationships and bad patterns and communication breakdowns and all that fun stuff. It’s based on many situations and many people. It’s hard to be vulnerable, especially when you feel hurt or threatened. At these times we seldom act our best. Sometimes things just feel hopeless, like yelling at a wall and expecting it to listen”.

Decorating with spiralling guitars and buzzsaw bass lines, Insincere Apologies has this glorious, singalong chorus, as the band lay down these slacker vocals and harmonies that are frankly irresistible. Throw in messy, noisy guitars and these occasional jolts and stutters and you have one of our favourite songs of the year.
