Premiere: Irish electronic trio Phraktal reveal new track, Kruschonk

Dublin trio Phraktal cam to the fore with their cover of Orbital’s classic Chime, which scored them a #3 spot in the 2019 progressive grouse chart on Beatport, but now their back to build on that with a new album Nightwalk, out now on Limbo Records, the legendary progressive house label that grew out of Glasgow record shop 23rd Precinct Music. From it, we’re delighted to be able to premiere a new track, Kruschonk, right here on Backseat Mafia today.

Having already been picked up by by some of the best selling progressive house and forward-thinking techno labels including; Iconyc, Repressure, Mirabilis, Groove Factory, and Omnis, they have been remixed by Damon Wild, Orlando Voorn, Barry Jamieson [Sasha/ Refracted], G-Prod, Blue Amazon, Ben Shaw, Astronivo, and up & coming producers like Full Funktion & Traveltech.

Kruschonk is this hard edged progressive house track, full of eastern sounding vocal snatches and ominous basslines as well as this rumble of pads and electronic. Synth lines echo and bleed into eachother as they weave in and out of the beats, occasionally seeing them off completely before huge electro sound tower over you. It’s brilliant stuff.
