Premiere: Zenith Volt release the new video for ‘Galaxy’

Hawaii-based Synthwave artist Zenith Volt latest album Timekeeper came out last week (March 19th) via Aztec Records, and swiftly following on from it, he’s released a new video for the track Galaxy, which we’re delighted to premiere right here on Backseat Mafia today.

Of the track, Zenith Volt told us “To me, the song “GALAXY” is about the bonds of human connection and how in some special cases, these connections become so strong that they take on a type of cosmic embodiment. The “just me and the camera” approach in the music video symbolizes a one on one bond. As the story grows throughout the video, it chronicles how singular intimate moments and expansive happenings are all part of the same being. Every moment is universal.

Galaxy oozes this sort of emotive, day-glo synth-pop, with the edgy melodies bleeding into the melancholy which overrides it. Synths bustle and jostle for attention over the top, with melodies and feelings splashing over the edges and into your heart.
