Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Spindrift have just kicked off a month long European tour, starting at the Almeria Western Film Festival in Taberna, Spain. They premiered Spindrift: Ghost Of The West; the bands feature-length, surrealist ghost town documentary/musical, with an added live performance by the band. The film will then become available via Vimeo On Demand and iTunes.
Coinciding with the tour is the vinyl release of the bands best known album, The West, which was originally released in 2007 and quickly got the attention of bands such as The Dandy Warhols and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, who both went on to invite them on their US and European tours.
