The Black Angels – Death Song
The Black Angels are back with their latest full length LP Death Song, which will be released on 21st April 2017. To coincide with this, the RSD release will have a glow in the dark vinyl, black light cover, sticker and poster. An interesting fact on the side; ‘The Black Angel’s Death Song’ was released in 1967 on The Velvet Underground’s debut album. Coincidence?
Camera/Richard Pinhas – Saftwehr/Dronz 5
The Bureau B artists have teamed up for a RSD release of previously unreleased material for an exclusive 12” maxi split. The Camera track was recorded in Berlin in January of this year, whilst the Richard Pinhas track was recorded and mixed during the sessions for album Reverse.
The Doors – Live at the Matrix ‘67
What would RSD be without a fantastically limited The Doors record, this years comes in the form of Live at the Matrix ’67, which comes in the form of a 180g 12” numbered black vinyl. For those unfamiliar, The Matrix is in San Francisco and was recorded on 7th and 10th March 1967 and this is the first time it has been released on vinyl.
Follakzoid ft J. Spaceman – London Sessions
Chilean Trio Follakzoid have teamed up with the legendary Jason Pierce, AKA J. Spaceman of Spaceman 3/Spiritualized fame, discovering they were kindred spirits in the process. This Sacred Bones release is hotly anticipated and certain not to stick around on shelves for long.
Goat – Goatfuzz/Goatfizz
An unreleased edit of the track ‘Goatfuzz’, one of the stand out tracks from their latest album Requiem. The B side is brand new track ‘Goatfizz’. The release comes on two colour splatter 7” and is limited to 2000 copies. Get it whilst you can as there will be no digital release of these tracks.
