See: Counting Days reveal new video for Prison of Misery

Taken from their Liberated Sounds album that dropped last August, counting days have just released a video for Prison of Misery. Its a track that begins with this circumspect, simple stripped back riff. You know right from the off though that its skirting the edge of things, and sure enough its soon explodes into life, with killer riffs and savage vocals as it becomes ever more clattered with Lasselle Lewis adding some nifty bass drum work into the chorus’ which, apart from being killer, are packed full of menace and malice.

The video that accompanies the track is the first to feature former Bring Me the Horizon guitarist Curtis Ward, since being confirmed as a full time member. It was shot in an old underground theatre in North London that is in the middle of its transformation back to its former glory from its current incarnation as a car park. Talking about the location guitarist Charlie Wilson adds, “I was lucky enough to go to an exclusive Skepta show there about a year ago and knew it would be a great location for the video.” He continues “The lyrics for the song are influenced by the feeling of depression and anxiety, and how you can tear yourself apart from it” Check it out, here
