See: I Like Trains Share Video For Next Single ‘Dig In’

Following on from the bands previous single ‘The Truth’ (see here) the band have released the second single to come from their forthcoming album ‘Kompromat’ out August 21st via Atlantic Curve.

“This one is for those morally bankrupt schemers who have managed to leverage extraordinary power and wealth while never being on the ballot,” explains vocalist David Martin. “For a job that would serve them best by working in the shadows, it’s incredible to see how their egos have landed them all in hot water. They can’t seem to help themselves, and yet somehow they manage to worm their way out of any real justice by calling in favours and laying low until it all blows over.”

Theres just no mistaking an ‘I Like Trains’ track. David Martins voice is instantly recognisable as is the guitar work. They stick out in the current climate as they still carry the early 2000s indie sound. The spoken vocals are a great way of making the lyrics accessible and therefore the content to be at the forefront. The guitar heavy music plays on the lyrical content sounding equally uneasy and irritated. I Like Trains are making music that is very much needed.
