See: Kidbug release new video for Together

Fusing together members of Eerie Wanda, Dumb Numbers, Best Coast and Shearwater, Kidbug make this almost heavy Grunge/alt-rock. Buzzsaw guitar lines permeate the latest single to be taken from their upcoming Self-titled debut album, out on May 22 via Joyful Noise, as it moves sedately along. Over the top there’s these ethereal harmonised vocals that weave in and out of the scruffy, but intensely satisfying noise going on below.

Of the song, the bands Maria Tadic says “As the song title suggests, we were together when we wrote ‘Together’ together. The song is about cosmic connection, unity, intuition and peace which we translated to symbolic images for this video.” while band mate Adam Harding adds “I came up with the chord progression for ‘Together’ while trying to remember how to play our song ‘Lovesick’. Marina suggested that I should maybe try to forget how to play ‘Together’ and trick myself into coming up with another new song.”

Harding and Tadic also co-directed the video in collaboration, as is all of Kidbug’s music and artwork. It was edited both together and apart, with filming taking place in Indiana and The Netherlands. Check it out, here
