News: Paul Weller announces five ‘Forest Live’ dates

The ‘Modfather’ is getting back to nature again this summer. Following the success of last years ‘Forest Live’ gigs, Paul Weller, in conjunction with the Forestry Commision, has just announced a string of live dates all set in beautiful woodland surroundings.

“It will be good for me to be back in the woods. I really enjoy the unique atmosphere of these gigs as do the fans.”

He doesn’t need much of an intro, bursting onto the scene in 1977 with The Jam. Their debut single, ‘In The City’, put down an instant marker and propelled Weller and his cohorts straight to hearts of Britain’s youth. Three decades later he’s still making great music and gaining new fans. Revered as a true British icon, an evening in the woods with him seems like a rollicking good idea.
