See: The Chills reveal video for new single “When the poor can reach the Moon”

Legendary Kiwi indie rockers The Chills rewound the clock when they released their extremely well received album, Silver Bullets earlier in the year, their first for 20 years. Taken from the album, the band are releasing a new single “When the Poor Can Reach The Moon” via Fire Records on 11th December, and if its Heavenly Pop Hit that always burnt brightly in your memory, you won’t be disappointed.

Built on almost hymnal organ chords at the outset, it soon bursts into this irresistible shuffle, as it sways back and forth as it builds, decorated liberally with backing vocals sprinkled with some magic melodic gold-dust. Check out the video, which started out as a 1956 cartoon, Destination Earth.
