Track: Al Moses release new single ‘Gutter Rock Moxie’

Released earlier this month Al Moses have taken a post punk sound and added their own back to basics vibe, lyrics that strike of Undertones style simplicity, but with a modern and almost poetic sense of thought. From the bedrooms of Wales to the venues that inspired them, this feels like a story so far, then a look to the future.

One of the best Punk/Indie bands to come out of Wales in recent times, in the vane of Trampolene.

After releasing the venerating single ‘He Truly is the Son of God’ which received praise from the likes of Tom Robinson (BBC 6Music), John Kennedy (Radio X), Adam Walton (BBC Radio Wales), So Young Mag and Gigwise, Al Moses return with another fresh single ‘Gutter Rock Moxie’, showing their versatility with an upbeat stonker charged-on-moxie and fuelled by nostalgia.

Gutter Rock Moxie is the first song co-frontmen, Jack and Daf wrote together, back in 2016. From Pentre Bach to Cardiff Central, the song describes the train journey the two would take to and from each other’s houses every week, as they dreamt of forming a band together.
