Track: Blue Amber – Red Moon Song

Cardiff-based quartet Blue Amber share their new standalone offering ‘Red Moon Song’ which will be released on Wednesday 2nd December as part of new Cardiff record label Rose Parade Recording Co.’s Singles Club.

Of the new release, Singer Drew explains,

“Kumar, our guitarist sent me a guitar riff idea and I listened to it while taking a nighttime walk around Llandaff Fields in Cardiff. Because of
the lockdown, the fields were deserted. Red Moon Song came about by channelling that feeling of isolation and insecurity, as well an instrumental inspired by The Books and The Microphones.”

Bass led with spoken words vocals they guys have created a cool atmosphere with this track. Energetic drums take up a good chunk of the mix which included softly played guitar underneath vocals that become more paranoid sounding as the track progresses. It all culminates into an addictive jazztastic mess of sax and drums.
