Brooklyn duo Bottler, aka Pat Butler and Phil Shore have released the lead single from their forthcoming EP Clementine, out on May 8th via InFiné.
The track is this sort of electro/indie crossover. It has this drooling bassline and synth lines that splash and dribble all over the fistfuls of synth chord that rocks forward and back. over the top is this sort playground chant “Nobody likes me / everybody hates me”. Clearly not talking about the song though, because it’s lovely.
