After coming together for an explosive performance in a Cocktail bar in Cookham, Bought it for the Bottle have been scattering releases here and there since 2019, and are back now despite everything 2020 has put in their way with a new track, Statues out via Not Yet Records
It’s smart and sassy indie rock, with sweeping vocal lines and echoey guitar work pushing this instantly lovable melodic sharply into focus, as it brings about involuntary smiles and memories of sweaty dancing to mind.
