Out on July 10th via Missing Piece Records / Communion) is the debut release, The Non-Stop EP from Welsh quartet Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard. From it they’ve shared a new track, Double Denim Hop, which magnetic frontman Tom Rees describes as being “the first time I felt fully confident as a writer… it set me off on a good journey for writing a lot of other BBB tunes.”
Double Denim Hop is, maybe as expected, this glorious slice of barroom rock and roll, with a good dose of glam thrown in for good measure. Slushy guitar riffs compete with Rees’ slacker vocals in the verse, before things get all T-Rex in the chorus. If this doesn’t cheer you up, I’m not quite sure what will.
