Track: Exit Kid – Basis

Lewis Evans

With their new EP due 10th December, Exit Kid have released another single in the form of title track ‘Basis’. Mixed by John Catlin (Led Zeppelin, The Killers, Foals) and mastered by Robin Schmidt (The 1975, Wolf Alice, The Black Keys)

Emre explains about the song:

“Basis is a very simple song about love and dedication. It’s good to let people know how you feel while you have the opportunity.”

With ‘Basis’, Exit Kid have moved to a chilled out affair of with cello and gentle guitar. It’s still very much Exit Kid with Türkmen’s recognisable dreamy vocals and the infectious beat behind it all.
