The London quartet Gardening have released their second single ‘Second Sight’, out now in the Lable Fandango, following in from thei pr debut – the self released Taste Invader, released as Mirror Shot. Wanting to distance themselves from another new band of that name, they’ve adopted their moniker for this follow up.
Taking from the likes of The Maccabees, but also the likes of Pavement, there’s also a little hint of C86 about it as it jangles forward but with some intent, the drums and chiming guitar whipping things up enough for the melody, lovable and with just a hint of melancholy, to sit perfectly over the top.
