Track: I Like Trains – A Steady Hand

I Like Trains share the third single ‘A Steady Hand’, from their forthcoming album ‘Kompromat’, set for release on August 21st via Atlantic Curve.

“It looks at the messaging behind nationalist politics” vocalist David Martin says of the single. “It seems there’s often a certain dark irony at play, with politicians wheeling out an anti-immigration stance which stands completely at odds with their own family history and circumstances. Is there a complete lack of self-awareness, or are they simply willing to sell-out their own partners, parents and grandparents for power and influence?”

Sinister Kraftwerk rumbles with the deep bass and nasty guitar screeches shatter the spoken word calm. This track follows on from their previous two singles and once again shows that not many bands are, and can, make music like I Like Trains can.
