Track: Mint Field release the heavy psych sounds of Contingencia

With their new album ‘Sentimiento Mundial’ on the horizon, out via Felte Records on September 25th, Mexico City based psych duo Mint Field are back with a new track ‘Contingencia’, streaming now.

Of the track the band say “‘Contingencia’ is one of the most energetic tracks from our upcoming album. A track about those times when we feel like we don’t have any other choice or way of doing things, and that sometimes we need to see the light that is in front of us. I really love this part that said “No puedes vivir ciega de lo que puedes ver”  (“You can’t live blind to what you can see”).”

Over this motorik, Krautrock beat smothered in eerie, winding guitar lines, singer / guitarist Estrella del Sol lays down the beautiful folk like sighs and swoons, the sweet against the backings crunching sour.

Incredible stuff. Check it out, here
