Track: New London trio Regressive Left share debut single ‘Eternal Returns’

FORMED by Georgia Hardy of Spilt Milk alongside Will Crosby and Simon Tyrie, Regressive Left is a new outfit from the depths of London who’ve just released their debut single, “Eternal Returns”.

Having only played their debut show last year with PVA, Scalping and Porridge Radio, the trio have wasted no time in getting into the studio and ahead of lockdown, have unleashed this first taster.

Seemingly giving nods to Talking Heads whilst also evoking the sounds of The Wants and London contemporaries PVA and the avant-garde-popster that is Lynks, ‘Eternal Returns’ is sprawling, agitated rhymitic post-punk meets goth-tinged art-rock that also features a cameo of the seemingly instrument of the moment, the saxophone.

It’s great stuff, and we can’t wait to hear what else this new trio have to offer down the line.
