Self Esteem today shares her track ‘You Forever’, which is the final track to be lifted from her highly anticipated second album Prioritise Pleasure out now via Fiction Records. Empowering and witty in trademark Self Esteem style, ‘You Forever’ is another standout cut, about which Rebecca Taylor says,
“This song is about the bravery of being alone vs the bravery of taking a chance. Both very valid. I’m also just talking about me, my band, the people I found since going solo, how we’ve made this difference. I’ve done it all without a traditional ‘support network’ and found my own. I think that’s a life hack.”
Possibly her finest vocal take, the track has a great funky beat and a smart bass line that pops underneath her perfect phrasing. If the other singles haven’t had you wanting to pick her album up then this track will.
