Track: The Brackets release summer anthem, ‘Oranges’

THE WORLD is looking to re-open the doors of our favourite music venues and mass gatherings are on the horizon which means only one thing… LIVE MUSIC! With gigs returning, bands are eager to show all the music they’ve been crafting in lockdown.

West Yorkshire four-piece The Brackets have released a juicy new track titled Oranges and it’s a certified banger.

Opening with an immediately catchy riff, the track radiates warmth, vocalist Eric Hayes has a slick tone to his timbre which compliments guitarist Thomas Windle’s jarring chords. The chorus soars and the backing vocals add that little something extra, like a juice with bits for all you lovers of texture out there. The sunshine continues to flow throughout the track thanks to drummer Andy Morrey and bassist Glenn Beal, with their rhythm section providing impeccable vibes.

After all the doom and gloom of the past 12 months this track is the pick-me-up that we’re all needing, big up to The Brackets for saving us from the COVID blues.
