DJ Preservation, one half of Dr. Yen Lo with Brownsville wordsmith Ka, and a producer of the moment, releases his new album, Eastern Medicine, Western Illness, on Nature Sounds, May 29th. Preservation has worked with Mach-Hommy, Your Old Droog, Navy Blue, billy woods, and Roc Marciano, among others. He has also been the tour DJ for Yasiin Bey. Here is the first single from the album, featuring polymath Navy Blue, entitled North Bridge. In February, Navy Blue released his fine debut album, Àdá Irin.
