Out right now on his own Perpetual Collective is the new release from Alex Over, 003 aka The People. Known for his remixes, experimental productions and for hosting the U-Turn podcast, Over’s new release shows two sides of his work, with the more experimental original track, contrasted by the club version on the flip. Synths snake around this driving beat, while spoken words and cut up vocals combine to give it this ice cold, but somehow alluring feel. Check them both out, here

He’s also recorded a mix for us here at backseat mafia. Of the mix, Alex told jus “This particular mix is quite broad in terms of genres. The main reason for this is that a lot of my new portfolio work has been varied with many different influences, especially over the last couple of years and with deliberate intention. Music for me is all about your own experiences and expressing this, and I wanted to do a mix that represents just that. It’s honest and creative.”
