An electric night in Glasgow celebrating 40 years of New York legends Anthrax supported by crossover thrashers Municipal Waste who provided a 45min whirlwind of immersive moshing madness – an absolute delight to watch. Such a fitting choice as an opening act!
Anthrax’s show started off with a 10min video featuring an all-star line up of artists talking about the impact this great band has had on them throughout their lives. This was projected onto a white sheet hung from the rigging which served as a screen dividing the audience from the band as they started playing their instruments while being backlit followed by the sheet being dropped and revealing the band to thousands of screaming fans in a sold out O2 Academy.
