News: Charlotte Gainsbourg announces European/Japanese tour dates

With the sound of her current single ‘Songbird in a cage’, co-written by Sir Paul McCartney, rattling around your radios, Charlotte Gainsbourg had revealed a run of European and Japanese tour dates, including a show at London’s Village Underground on March 29th. It’ll be her first appearance on the capital since her acclaimed performance at Somerset House back in July, 2012.

It comes on the back of Novembers release of her latest album, the much acclaimed and admired ‘Rest’, which was high up in many of the end of year polls. Tickets for all shows* go on general sale now and are available from www.charlottegainsbourg.com
*Except Zurich on sale from Jan 10 and Tokyo & Osaka on sale January 27.

Released on November 17 through Because Music, Charlotte Gainsbourg’s album ‘Rest’ garnered global plaudits and featured in numerous ‘Albums of the Year’ polls. Co-written with Sir Paul McCartney, Charlotte’s current single ‘Songbird In A Cage’ remains on BBC Radio 6 Music’s A List and is the third song from the album to enjoy strong support at radio.
