Following a string of sold-out performances across Europe and North America, Faroese singer and composer Eivør Pálsdóttir will make her long-awaited return to Australia and New Zealand in March 2026 for her first-ever headline tour of the region. Known for her evocative voice and deeply atmospheric soundscapes, Eivør brings with her a full-scale live production that promises to be as transportive as it is powerful.

Eivør first captivated local audiences as the opening act for Heilung’s Australian debut in 2024, earning widespread acclaim for her striking stage presence and otherworldly vocal range. This new headline tour sees her move confidently into the spotlight, offering fans a rare opportunity to witness her craft in its most complete form—where folk mysticism meets cinematic intensity.

Joining Eivør on this tour is Norwegian multi-instrumentalist and composer Sylvaine, the solo project of Kathrine Shepard. Renowned for her ethereal blend of post-metal, black-gaze, and ambient textures, Sylvaine brings a contrasting yet complementary energy to the bill. Her 2022 album Nova cemented her reputation within the Nordic alternative music scene, earning praise for its emotional depth and dynamic sonic palette.

Eivør’s music has resonated far beyond the Faroe Islands, with her contributions to the soundtrack of The Last Kingdom introducing her haunting voice to a global audience. Her extensive discography, which includes collaborations with Ásgeir, John Grant, Einar Selvik (Wardruna), and Dan Heath (Lana Del Rey), has amassed close to one billion streams and earned her the 2021 Nordic Council Music Prize.
