News: Fazerdaze announce European tour dates

New Zealand indie quartet Fazerdaze are about to release an album, Morningside. It’s a record that has an evocative mix of angular, chiming music and ultimate pop sensibility. What is even more astounding is that Fazerdale frontwoman Amelia Murray wrote, recorded and produced the album by herself. The three singles released so far perfectly capture the album’s tone and resonance. The band are heading to the UK to play The Great Escape Festival, Live at Leeds, Sounds From The Other City in Manchester as well as further dates around Europe and the UK, including a show at the former Upstairs at The Garage, Thousand Island in London on 4th May.

They’ve just released a video for the single Lucky Girl, with shades of C86 and New Zealand’s Flying Nun based indie scene – apt seeing as they’re the new wave of Flying Nun signed bands. Check it out, here:

The album is due out on 5 May 2017. You can preorder from here. Limited advance clear vinyl will be available on Record Store day (22 April) in New Zealand. Pre-orders are available now.
