Luxembourg’s ALFALFA release the hotly anticipated self-titled debut EP. Spearheaded by creators Charel Geimer and Bert Jung, the EP showcases their ability to craft infectious indie tinted electonic-pop tracks adorned with creative production.

Comprising seven tracks which tread through the light and darker side of the bands sound, – from dance beats and uplifting melodies to moments of reflection and melancholy. The project serves as a poignant diary, encapsulating the myriad emotions experienced during the tumultuous pandemic era. The band explain: “The EP is kind of a musical diary, capturing emotions, challenges, and growth we faced during lockdown times. We want to express our creativity, resilience, and the bond we share that fuels our passion for making music together.”

Established in 2018, ALFALFA emerged from the creative synergy between Geimer and Jung, who boast a musical partnership spanning nearly fifteen years. The duo’s ability to seamlessly navigate various genres has been honed over time, leading them to their latest venture into Electro-Pop—a genre they infuse with experimental Flourished offering a unique and distinctive sound.

Despite facing the creative challenges brought on by the pandemic-induced pause, Charel and Bert used he period to inspire their music, ultimately resulting in the glittering soundscape which can be found across the duo’s new EP.
