SXSW Sydney has announced The Kid LAROI as its music keynote speaker for the festival this year.
This highly anticipated session will feature an in-depth conversation with the 21-year-old artist, exploring his journey from Redfern to becoming a global superstar with over a billion streams. The discussion will provide insights into his future plans and the evolution of his remarkable career.
In addition, SXSW Sydney will collaborate with The Kid LAROI to host a series of professional development workshops and performance opportunities, specifically designed to support the First Nations communities of Waterloo and Redfern.
The Kid LAROI headlines an impressive SXSW Sydney® lineup that includes some of the most promising rising stars, breakthrough artists, and industry leaders from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. Over the course of four exciting nights, acts from more than 15 countries will take over venues across Chippendale and surrounding areas, showcasing their talents and forging new connections. Running parallel to the music showcase will be one of the most significant gatherings of international industry leaders, including top agencies, promoters, labels, and A&R representatives. These experts will come together to share their knowledge, explore emerging trends, and equip the next generation with the tools they need to succeed.
