Rock Action Records are proud to release the debut album from Scottish quartet Rev Magnetic, who include in their number Mogwai’s Luke Sutherland. Combining elements of R&B, shoegaze and post rock into their singular, blisfully spacial dream pop.
‘Versus Universe’ reflects a plethora of transformative sound references ranging from My Bloody Valentine to Teebs, Hawkwind to ABBA and Vaughan Williams to Stravinsky into its 11 track concept album, a story of the early days of the Congolese Space Program whereby mid mission, astronauts disappeared.
The first single, ‘Yonder (Là-haut)’ is now available to stream & download, and they will be on tour with Swervedriver throughout May.
